I woke up this morning to find brown blood on the toilet paper. So I called the Doctor and She called me back and told me that she wasnt to concerned about it since the blood is brown. She said that it's old blood. I was asked if I had intercourse with dh and I havent in the last week, so It could'nt be from that. Yesturday I had some back pain and I had called the office and told them about it and that i've had this awful cold and wanted to know what I could take because I've got high blood pressure and most of the cold meds I cant take. The Nurse told me to take tylenol for my back pain, I asked if I should come in to see if I might have a bladder infection or UTI she told me no? Now I wish I would've insisted to be seen yesturday. Could the brown blood be from a UTI/ bladder infection? Anyways I sure could use some prayers and your thoughts that when i go in today that the baby is okay. I'm just sooo scared that something isnt right.
*UPDATE*
Well I'm back from my appt. My Doctor still isnt concerned with the brown spotting she said that it's old blood and it's coming from my cervix, so thats good. She found baby's heartbeat with the doppler right away and the heartrate is in the 140-150 range wich she said was perfect. I asked about UTI and she said Probably not because I wasnt having any pain or trouble urinating? My husband asked again before we left and we got the same answer. So I didnt get an ultrasound she said we might do one on my Dec13th appt. Which would be nice because they would be able to tell the gender by then. She said if the spotting turns bright red I was to call her right away and that the brown spotting should go away in a day or two. She hasnt put me on any restrictions which is good because I have to keep up with my girls. And she reassured me that if i was to miscarry it would've been before now and the chances of a miscarriage going into my 15th week is a slim possibility.
