We also use Dr.Brown's bottles which I love they help soooo much with the gas, and spitting up. Honestly I never really payed attention to the warnings about the bottles because I don't heat up the formula either. I used Dr.Brown's with my older dd too, and heated them, but then I didn't know about the BPA. Needless to say she's fine too I wouldn't worry too much about if you aren't heating up the formula.
