What is your favorite Christmas memory? The year my dad got divorced from my first stepmom, my older brother and I lived with dad. I was 11---dad bought me a 14 karat gold genuine Ruby(my birthstone) ring. My first piece of real jewelry, and it was extra special cuz it came from my dad. Thats not necessarily a memory, but I will always remember that Christmas.
Were you shy or in trouble alot?I wasnt shy, but I didnt really get into trouble---just the norms---arguing with siblings, fibbing, etc
What was your favorite cartoon? We didnt have cable, so I dont really have a favorite. But, I did like Smurfs, Carebears, Fraggle Rock, Gummy Bears
Teenage years
How did you spend your time on the weekends?I was a big time homebody--so most of my weekends were spent at home with my family. I did go out with friends a lot, but I much preferred to be at home
Were you in any extra curricular activities/sports?I was in drama club
How were your grades?I got great grades, except for in geometry---I got Ds, and other math classes I got Cs---math was not my strong subject at all
What do you remember about these years when it comes to music, clothing, etc? There isnt anything specific I remember because none of that was important to me. But, too many people cared waaaaaay too much about their looks and what others thought of them.

How did dh propose? We decided to get married together, so there was no ring or anything, but he felt really bad about that. He wanted me to have a ring. So, we went together one day and picked out an engagement ring and a wedding band. We had the people hold it, so we could look around more, but I was pretty sure those were the ones I wanted. So, we waited the weekend, and we were going to go on Monday together and pick them up(I decided for sure I wanted those ones). But, he had some errands to run with his mom first. So, they leave, and Im just waiting for them to get back so I can go get my rings! They were taking a little longer than I had expected, so I was getting frustrated. Well, they finally get home. So, Joey and I leave to finally get my rings---only, he is going in the opposite direction as the jewelry store. I think nothing of it, because he might just wait until we get to a certain street to turn around. But, he just keeps going in the opposite direction, towards the next city. Well, Im really p*ssed off wondering what we are doing, so I ask him. He says we are going to Marysville to get parts for the car first. Grrr....but oh well. So, when you hit Marysville, the road forks. If you go to the right, its the city part where all the stores/restaurants/businesses are. If you go to the left, its more where the houses/parks/and a few businesses are. Well, he goes to the left, so I immediately knew what he was up to---there arent any car places to the left. There is this train park in Marysville, that you get to by going left at the fork. It this nice park, with an old train there to play on. Its where he gave me my promise ring. So, like I said, when he took that way, I knew what he was doing, and just smiled and felt bad for being such a B*tch! So, we get to the train park, and he says the normal gushy things---how much he loves me and cant wait to marry me(since we had already decided together to get married, it was the usual "Will you marry me?"). And he told me that I deserved a real proposal and hes been so excited all day to do this, because he knew how Id react, LOL. Well, turns out, his mom and him picked up my rings before they got home, and thats what was taking them longer than I expected. So, thats our proposal story, and I love it!
What was Kylie's nursery decorated in?She didnt have a nursery---we were living in a 1 bedroom apt when she was born, so we shared a room. We moved into a 2 bedroom when she was 2 months old, but arent allowed to paint, so her walls are white. But its sort of a princess theme, with lots of pink and purple, and princessy things.
Do you have any family traditions?Joey and I started the tradition for Kylies first Christmas of opening some nice jammies on Christmas Eve to wear to bed that night, than going and laying in bed as a family and watching 'Elf' and sipping hot cocoa. When I was a kid, we always went Christmas caroling--my dad still does with whatever of my siblings are around to go. Joey and I try to go to Copper Harbor (the northern-most city in Michigan, about 45 mins from where we live) the first or second weekend of Oct. The fall colors are so beautiful, and its all trees along the way, so its such a nice drive. We didnt go last year though. The university has Winter Carnival every year---all the organizations/groups/frats/sororities build snow statues starting the beginning of the second semester. Well, the last night of the statue building is called the all-nighter, because everyone participating stays up all night finishing their statues for judging the next day. Well, during this night, they have lots of festivities on campus. We always go, and its a tradition of ours to get a bowl of the chili they pass out, as well as a deep fried snickers. Well, this year, the chili was awful, and my snickers wasnt deep fried all the way--the batter was still doughy. So I just took it back and didnt get another. It sucked this year....But, I think those are it for traditions so far.
