They often do need to check you down there, not a vag exam, they just need to see how much you''re bleeding, to make sure that it's not too heavy.

Ditto that. I had stitches and they had to check the next morning just to make sure everything "looked ok" down there. But, wearing pj pants wouldn't have been a big deal...I could have just pulled them down a little so they could check.
