Easiest state laws and homeschooling?

I think FL has a great homeschool law. We do have to register with the county when we begin homeschooling and tell them when we finish. Each year, we have to have an evaluation or test to prove we have homeschooled successfully. Other than that, they are really hands off. We have a lobbyist who volunteers and sits and listens/reads every education bill to make sure it doesn't infringe on the rights of homeschoolers. She is very well respected by the lawmakers. So everything here is pretty smooth.
Added bonus, there is no state income tax here. But we have property tax issues and now homeowners insurance issues. Things seem to be getting more expensive here.
