I am a chapter leader in Ottawa for an infertility support group. I just received information about the fall Adoption Resource Exchange that is held in Toronto twice a year. It is a two day event - usually the first day with speakers, etc. focusing on adoption topics. The second day, different workers from Children's Aid Societies across Ontario "showcase" (for lack of a better word) children that are waiting for homes that live in CAS. They have videos and blurbs describing the children. If there are any children you are interested in, you can then visit that child's worker to inquire about applying to adopt / providing your home study.
