Thank you for reading and I hope you could give me an answer!
My boyfriend and I had sex on July 30th and it was the first time he had ever ejaculated into me. I'm absolutely terrible at remembering to take my birth control pills, also. The next day, for the first time ever, I had a lot of cervical mucus. It was clear and stretchy. The day after that, I had noticed some spotting, which had never happened to me before. I was due for my period the following week (Aug. 5th - 8th), and yes, I did get it but it was light. I usually would change my tampon 3-4 times during the work day but it was not the case at all; I could've worn it all day (I didn't!).
I don't know if I'm just convincing myself that I am pregnant or if I should be thinking about names, but I do have some of the early symptoms. Especially yesterday and today with nausea.
I have a Doctor's appointment for next Monday, but hopefully some of you expectant and already mother's could help me out. Should I take a test? Or would it be pointless?
Thank you for your help! It truly is appreciated.
Re: Please help!
That clear, stretchy cm could have been leftover ejaculation.
It could have been a sign of ovulation but it seems that it'd be more likely that you ovulated the week before that. Spotting could have been from ovulation as well, or it could have just been a random event.
If you did ovulation late and caught the egg then your 'period' could have been IB. Or it could have just been a weird cycle for you. It's not uncommon to have a lighter or heavier period then normal.
Have you taken a HPT? You should get an accurate result now on a urine test at home.
Re: Please help!
Thank you for the reply! No, I haven't yet. I was worried that it'd just be a waste of time and that I was worrying for nothing. Should I wait until I go to the doctor's on Monday? Or should I take one sooner?
