Isaiahs doctor recommended starting solids at 6months but right now he is eatting every 2 -3 hours and Im wondering if starting cereal might help reduce the constant feeding schedule?

Any advice.. perhaps mothers who have just started their babies on cereals?

Thanks! :D

DD eats cereal right now cuz she could never get full on just formula. she would eat 5oz of cereal and in an hour want to eat again. I put DS on cereal very early also for the same reason - so i don't think a little rice would hurt him - and would fill his little tummy up more too.

I started my baby on cereal at 3 months in a half because she wasn't getting full on just formula she would drink her bottle of formula and then want more 2 hrs or 3 hrs later and she did pretty well with the cereal and now she is 5 months and she has done ate a lotta food she has had Green beans, peaches, pears, applesauce, Rice cereal, cereal with bananas in them, Bananas, squash, carrots, sweet potatoes and just yesturday she just tried peach cobbler and she loved it.........I think we are about to go to 2nd foods..she loves all of te food that she has tried so far hasn't turned down anything yet.
