The name Jordan..... We are going to name our baby that if it is a boy but I want to spell it differently. HELP!

My son's name is Jordan.

Maybe Jordon or Jorden. I don't know that you would want to spell it Jordyn if it's a boy.

I really like the spelling "Jordyn"... you think it would be ok for a boy?

babybarrett February 22nd, 2005 04:17 PM

I dunno, I'm never really good at the spelling variations, but what about Jordin?

Lilah February 26th, 2005 12:51 PM

I like it spelled with a "y" :D

Terelda February 26th, 2005 04:53 PM

To me the y makes it feminine....

babybarrett February 26th, 2005 09:00 PM

I totally agree...NO y. "Y" spellings nowadays make names more feminine I find. JMO.

DananaLuvsGabby February 26th, 2005 09:04 PM

Feminine or not. I like the "y" so its' gonna be.... Jordyn William.

Lilah February 27th, 2005 07:26 AM

I love it with a "y" and I don't see it as more feminine at all.

Swamp Lizard February 27th, 2005 09:13 AM

I think the y makes it a very feminine name, but I am not very good with the newer names. We always use traditional names. So my opinion may not mean much at all! lol

frgsonmysox February 27th, 2005 09:44 AM

if you like the y thats all that matters. Chris wants to name one of our boys merlyn with a y.
