Torn between 2 names

DH's initials are DLC. I wanted a jr but he didn't so we agreed that this baby boy would have his initials and same middle name.

We originally chose Dominic Lee.. but now I found the name Davidson Lee. (DH's name is David Lee) So baby boy will have David in his name as well. Now Im leaning towards Davidson!

Davidson is a scottish name that means "Son of David" How crazy?!

I like them both, but do lean to Davidson Lee, even though both are surname potentials, too. Issue with Davidson is the nn. Will you have one? Shorten it? Will it be too confusing with DH's name? If the answer is no, go for it!

Not a fan of Davidson. To me it's a last name.

I really really like both and voted before I read your post  ooopsie. . . but I like Davidson too and think the meaning is really cute!!! So I think I may lean towards that one! What would the nn be though if any?
