If you heard the name Rivka, which way would you spell it?

Gaby&Emmy'sMama February 8th, 2007 03:15 PM

I like it with the H!

rivka/rivkah is nms at all. however, i like the spelling rivkah. it appears to be more feminine looking.

sethsmum February 9th, 2007 06:38 AM

I would spell it Rivkah, I know someone that spells it this way

blessedmommy February 9th, 2007 08:46 AM

I voted Rivkah, somehow the "h" finishes it, if that makes sense.

::er!ca:: February 9th, 2007 08:50 AM

I like it A LOT better WITHOUT the "h"

Acadia February 9th, 2007 09:35 AM

If I was writing down the name, say as her pediatrician's receptionist :lol: , I would write RIVKA. That's just the spelling I would assume.

But if I was choosing between them, I have to say I like the look of RIVKAH better.

Katzchen February 9th, 2007 10:00 AM

Thanks, ladies! Some times I am in love with the simplicity of Rivka and other days I like the finished look or Rivkah.

I think I like the way Rivkah looks better, but I don't want my daughter to go through life correcting people about her name, and I think most people would assume it is spelled Rivka...
