We have a 10 year old DS named Ty. We agreed on his name fairly early on.

We found out we are having a little girl and have yet to agree on a name. So the other night I had a dream that we had her and we named her Daley. ( pronounced DayLee )

Now I have no idea where this name came from, and I'm not even sure I love it...

What do you think ?

Its ok, but too me its just like naming your kid Daily. I think I like it better as a middle name, spelled Dayleigh or Daylie.

I think it's cute! My husband said it just reminded him of like daily life though...

Thanks guys

I'm still not sure about it. It came to me in a dream, so I at least want to consider it

I think Daley would be a cute nickname for something like Madalena, or maybe Dalia (kind of like DALE-yuh).

I think it's really pretty! And I'm a big believer in dreams having meaning, so I say definitely consider it!

I think it's cute. Or I'd maybe consider Delaney.

Delaney is too common for my taste. But I do think it's pretty

The more I hear it out loud the more I like it :inlove:

The more I think about it, the more I like it. To avoid pronunciation mistakes like Dah-lie or Dollie, you may want to consider spelling it like common forms of Haylie. Either Daylie Daylee or Dayley

(I'd avoid Dailey because of the association with daily)
