What do you think?
Do you know more Quinn's that are boys or girls?

Miracle July 10th, 2007 09:13 PM

boys...i think it's cute for a girls mn...

*kyle* July 10th, 2007 11:23 PM

I see it as both genders and I LOVE it.

However, I think this one is being somewhat co-opted by girls right now.

Merolia July 10th, 2007 11:31 PM

BOY, definitely. I have never heard of Quinn as a female name, and it sounds very masculine. I like it a lot for a boy.

Elysia July 10th, 2007 11:37 PM

The only person I know with this name is a girl so I prefer it on a girl by association.

*PurpleMidnight* July 11th, 2007 01:27 AM

boy

LileighBelle July 11th, 2007 02:43 AM

I think it can work for both, but I prefer it on a boy.

Hanny July 11th, 2007 02:53 AM

boy

AnnD July 11th, 2007 06:35 AM

Girl, but I'm biased. Emma was close to being a Quinn.

Melanie. July 11th, 2007 08:46 AM

Boy.

carlyheartsphil July 11th, 2007 08:59 AM

I like this for a girl, probably because the only Quinn's I've met were girls.

Hey There July 11th, 2007 10:30 AM

Definitely Girl! Very cute name.

IrishMama July 11th, 2007 10:36 AM

50/50
I heard the same amount of sexes using it...
I was one of our tops for a BOY this last time with Micayla.

jayjay July 11th, 2007 02:51 PM

I think it looks and sounds more like a boys name, but i only know of a little GIRL with that name, so who knows.

jdee0509 July 11th, 2007 03:00 PM

i think its more of a girls name

djr July 11th, 2007 04:48 PM

I have never met anyone with this name.
I like it more for a BOY, but the more i say it out loud i could see it on a little girl.
Do you ever have to say a name over and over out loud to really see if you like it or like the way it sounds??? just me, i guess i do.
I really like the name, i think it could age well as they get older also.

hardstairs. July 11th, 2007 07:05 PM

Boy.

xoNicolexo July 11th, 2007 07:44 PM

I prefer It for a boy (short for Quinnton).

gee102 July 11th, 2007 08:29 PM

I've never met any one with this name but I've seen more boys with this name than girls on here and I personally prefer it as a boys name.

pixie_punk July 11th, 2007 09:41 PM

I work with a (boy) Quinn and he constantly laments that it's a girls' name. lol.

I knew a girl named Quinn, and she was kind of a tomboy, but not in a butch way... so I still associate Quinn as a masculine name.

(But interestingly, the Quinn I work with is very very effeminate. Maybe the name itself is just very confused?)
