Hello ladies!
I have a huge list of possible girl's names. You guys helped me out so much about boy names so please help again. I know I'm not that far along yet but I really do need some help chopping this list down. These are the one's my husband and I like the most with various spellings:

Bailee Alisabeth <pronounced elizabeth, combo of Gm's names Alice and Bessie>
Bailee Jaide
Cailyn Summer
Alicia Jane <again Gm name Alice, great Gm name Jane>
Alicia Jayde
Kaylyn Alisabeth <mother's middle Kay>
Ashlyn Summer
Summer Noelle
Brianna Cole <My DD's MN's are Brianne and Nicole so those put together>
Baylee Madison
Alicia Brooke
Kody Brooke
Madison Jayde
Kilynn Alisabeth <Kiley or Kily for short>
Kilynn Jade

Ok guys, lemme have it..

My only strong feelings were that I don't like Kody for a girl. Never heard that before. I also don't like the Killyn name. It reads like "kill"... Sorry...!!!!! The other names were all fine.

kitt August 26th, 2005 02:35 PM

It's Kilyn like Ky-lynn but I see now how it can be read that way yuck

kitt August 26th, 2005 02:37 PM

I guess I can change the spelling to Kylynn..any other suggestions on how to spell it? it has no vowels that way lol.

I like the name but I agree it looks funny with no vowels, how about Kylin or Kylinn

Oooh I love Kylin! Not bad TY. not sure it's my fav from my list yet ..but much better spelling

Lucky Charms August 27th, 2005 12:12 PM

Kilynn was actually a name I wanted for our first dd. I love it and got rave reviews on it when we did consider it!!

Jody August 27th, 2005 04:12 PM

Kilynn Alisabeth
Kilynn Jade

Those are my favourites!

Bailee: If you are going to use this name I would spell it Bailey because that is the legit way and then people will not have trouble spelling it. I do prefer Amalie, Emily, Emilia, Alice.

Alisabeth - If you wan't people to pronounce it Elizabeth it really should be spelt that way. To me it sounds like Alyssa with Beth on the end.

Jaide - This is nice, but I prefer it spelt Jade. Jada or Jane is also nice.

Cailyn - How about Cathleen, Catherine or Caitlin?

Summer - This is lovely as a first name

Alicia Jane - I love this one.

Ashlyn - Instead of Ashlyn you could perhaps have Ashely, Ashleen, Ashia, Ashira

Noelle is nice but it means Christmas so Narelle might be a pretty alternative

Brianna Cole - I like Briana it is nice. Cole to me screams 'boys name'. You could use Nicola, Colleen.

Brooke - I don't really like this because it is overused and has quite a harsh sound.

Kody - It is supposed to be spelled Cody. It is a males name.

Kilynn - Kylie is much nicer. Keely and Kelly are also nice alternatives.

I like Ashlyn, Kody, and if you can change the spellin of Kilynn then that would be my top pick...

I like this one best:

Cailyn Summer - I think it is very cute. :cheer:

I love the name Cailyn...it was a possible name for this baby if he had been a she

SavaAngel September 4th, 2005 11:37 AM

The ones I like are below:
Bailee Alisabeth
Cailyn Summer (how do you pronounce Cailyn?)
Alicia Jane
Alicia Jayde (I think I like Jayde better than Jane)
Kaylyn Alisabeth (This would be one of my favs out of your list!)
Summer Noelle (Not crazy about the name Summer, but I like the combo)
Brianna Cole <My DD's MN's are Brianne and Nicole so those put together> (I like Brianna Nicole better than Brianna Cole)
Baylee Madison (What about Madison Baylee?)
Alicia Brooke
Madison Jayde
Kilynn Alisabeth <Kiley or Kily for short>
Kilynn Jade

Another option would be Brooke Madison or Madison Brooke, I think they sound nice together.

Good Luck, Hope I was at least a little helpful!

Christina

I like Summer Noelle and Brianna but with Nicole as a middle name instead of Cole.

Summer Noelle
Brianna Nicole
