Really? Do we need to draw EVERYTHING out?

About a week and a half ago, bm sent us a snarky email. We let her know we weren't engaging in it, and moved on to tell that we had a conflict with visitation and dh's work for April, and we would like to switch that weekend with another weekend to accommodate. We also added in that we realized legally it was her weekend and so it was entirely up to her. :shrugs: Simple enough, right?

We had gotten zero reply, so last night we sent her a quick, "Several days ago, we sent you an email asking xyz. While we understand if you have already made plans or otherwise are unwilling to switch, it would appreciated if you could send us a reply so that we have an idea of what April is going to look like."

Still nothing, although she's been actively posting on her website the entire time. It's like pulling teeth to communicate very basic things and it's really getting quite old. You never know whether she's thinking about it (because she doesn't even send a cursory "Let me think it over" email), just ignoring us because that's the kind of person she is or she's up to something.

Some people are going to always be that way. Sorry.

That's the way Neely's ex is as well. Although she's perfectly willing to communicate if it benefits her. She also assumes that it's OK for us to offer more and bend the court order, but she is never willing to do the same.

Oh man you know I can't help but think how good it's going to be for us to finally have the upper hand and not have to bend to BMs whims. Yes, I'm being vindictive.

It is a good feeling to be sure, Liz. Although it does come with it's own set of problems, certainly it's fun for her to have to grovel once in a while!
