Im not sure if I should be worried or not or if its just something Hannah does. I have never really seen Nicole get shivers when she is cold. She gets goosebumps but that is all Ive seen. Now I know babies can get shivers but Hannah is a little different. She has gotten shivers from its cold and also when she had some chicken baby food she didnt like LOL But the other day I was making loud stupid noises cuz it makes her smile and she was smiling really big and then all of a sudden shivered. At first I thought well maybe it kind of gave her some goosebumps and I know I can shiver after that. And that is probably what it is but can certain noises trigger spasms??

I'd definitely say that I'm not qualified to answer this... but I'd say it might just be an individual thing, but if it really worries you call a doctor just to make sure.

My daughter gets little shivers all the time. They usually make her giggle, and they're cute to watch. I asked the doctor if it was normal and he said yes. It could be anything from her peeing (which can make them shiver) to being happy and excited. HTH!

Thanks girls. I figured it should be normal but you never know with all the information out there now  She did it a few times but she has always done it. She had her sixth month appt today and I forgot to ask so I guess it really isnt that big of a concern to me huh LOL  Just a little FYI Hannah is 16.13 lbs and 26 3/4 inches :cheer: She is in the 75th percentile for everything except her head which is 50th.

my first thought when I read this?

pee-pee shudder!!

It's about the right time for it. She's starting to feel and know when she's going. It might even "tickle" her to an extent. Sam did this for a while, but it eventually stopped. By a year I think it had phased out.

You think its her peeing? She has done this since she was very little. Like a month or earlier Id say. Its just so weird and cute at the same time.
