Teachers

Did you have a favourite teacher in elementary school? Why was he/she your favourite?
What about highschool?

My favourite in elementary was my 5th grade homeroom/math teacher. He was just so much fun, and treated us like people instead of annoyances.

My favourite high school teacher was my grade 12 homeroom/english teacher. She always made sure we were interested in what we were learning, and we went above and beyond for us (she even shaved her head for a safe grad fundraiser!).

Did you have a favourite teacher in elementary school? Mrs. Bodnar Why was he/she your favourite? She was very friendly and kind.
What about high school? I quite liked Mr. Davey - he taught us grammar which I liked since they stopped teaching it in most English classes.

Elementary school was Mr. Denomme, he was was my grade 3 teacher and brought in Timbits on every student's birthday...he told us we had to eat them in two bites
High school was Mr. Masters...he was my gr 11 accounting teacher, OAC accounting teacher, and business co-op teacher...he just had a quirky sense of humour...one halloween, he came to school in like a grim reaper costume and didn't speak a word the whole day...it was weird in class...and he just wandered the halls, and stood a bit too close to you...not saying a word...

There were two in elementary school that I remember the most, one was my favourite at the time. Miss. Greason, she was fun and gave out prizes for everything and gifts on your birthday we just had a great time with her. The second was Mrs. McGregor, I didn't like her at all at the time, she was tall and super skinny with white hair and boney fingers with long nails. Honestly she reminded me of a witch. If you made a mistake she wouldn't tell you want it was but would tap her long finger nails on your paper until you corrected it. But I realized after I was out of her class how much I learned from her. I went from a C average to getting As and Bs by the end of her teaching me grade 5.

Highschool was Mrs. Lucus. She taught English, and was the quietest, tiniest teacher you'd ever meet. She always spoke to us like adults instead of kids, she respected us and we respected her.
