Hey ladies, this challenge event is 4 weeks long. Each week I will give you a new layout to scraplift.
You will have only one week to complete your page for that scraplift.

On November 1st, each person participating in the challenges will choose which one of their pages they like the best and we will have a poll to vote for the winner of the challenge.

You have until October 18th to finish this scraplift

Marie...I love what you did with this scraplift. That is adorable! I bet we get some more good pages from this weeks challenge because the original LO is so nice.

Can someone design scraplift for me?

Can someone design scraplift for me?

ETA: Define... not design.

You bet.
Scraplift, it kinda means you copy what someone else did in their layout. You use the general idea of what they did in their layout and create your own. You would use different papers, different elements and place them similarly to how another did their page. and then, feel free to put your own little "twist" to it as well. :)
as they say, "make it your own".
I hope that helps :)

thanks for participating. This week's scraplift is officially closed for the Scraptober event. Feel free to scraplift it outside of this challenge :)

Check out week #3 !

scraplift and inspired by are pretty much the same thing. I use inspired by if I only used like a single aspect of their layout. Like if I used a background similar to the layout, or an idea of theirs. Scraplift is more the whole idea not just a part. At least that is how I think of it.

Julie_aka_Mommy October 26th, 2008 10:23 AM

That's true. good point!
I knew I didn't really explain it right. thanks

nvr.4.gtn October 26th, 2008 11:06 AM

no you did! lol I just added "inspired" to it.
