A Wall Street Journal reporter is looking to speak to a few JustMommies members for a story about an interesting generational dynamic: Older parents who are downsizing (or trying to pare down) trying to pass along heirlooms or other belongings to adult children (or daughter/son-in-laws) who aren't always eager to take the stuff.
The younger generation may have smaller houses, or not want additional items, or they may not have use for the items. Or, they might stick the hand-me-downs in the basement or closet, which can bother others in the family.
If you can relate to this situation, Jennifer Levitz would love to talk to you for this light-hearted story about a dynamic that touches a lot of families. Please contact Jennifer at email@example.com, and please put “JustMommies story query” in the Subject line.
