You already had the one hour GTT? Wow! Did you have GD in the past? So glad you passed that!!! :cheer:

What injections are you doing? (are they for preterm labor?) Hopefully, they do their job and you have a SUPER healthy pregnancy ;)

Re: 16 week appointment this morning

I have had GD with both my previous pregnancies. With my last they tested me at 9 weeks and didn't make me test again.

This time I kept putting it off and finally went Monday. She says I will test again at 28 weeks but we will see.

Yes, the shots are for preterm. I had ny daughter at 34 weeks...my water just broke. It was a total surprise. Then with my son I started injections at 18 weeks and continued until 34ish weeks. The doctor said the meds stay in your system 10 days and he was born on the 11th day after my last shot.

Glad you passed your GTT. Those are not pleasant. I had to have an early one, too. With DD I failed my 1 hour and had to take the 3 hour.

I also have my scan on the 26th. :)

Awesome.

Is it just me or are these pregnancies flying by?

Glad you passed the test! As for the shots hope they are not horridly painful for you I am not sure if they are the same as what they give for threatened miscarriage but assume anything progesterone hurts.

Thanks ladies. The shots aren't too bad if she doesn't push it in too fast...which they usually don't. But that causes it to ball up and it burns.

Anything for baby! Haha
