Craving... Nutrients? Can't satisfy it

For the past week I've been craving nutrients. Nothing in particular which makes it hard but I always feel like I want nutrients. In my head I keep thinking "I want nutrients". It's odd. So I eat a lot and no matter how much I eat I still have that craving. I keep snacking down on fruits, veggies, juice, meat and cheese and can't satisfy it! Even when I'm completely stuffed, I want something. Does that sound like some sort of deficiency? Or just a part of pregnancy maybe?

I know what you mean. I crave freezer burnt ice.:( I am thinking that means I am low on iron. Nothing is helping.

Yes Ice means you are anemic, aka needing iron. Have you asked your OB? I crave meats and cheese so Im thinking mine is a protein deficiency.

I did ask but she just said it was normal. She has said some other weird things (like heart rates above 160 is abnormal and it's too early for me to feel movement so I just think I am) so I don't know if I completely trust that.

From what I've read, at this point the normal range for Heartbeat is 120 to 160 so anything over 160 could be considered slightly abnormal. With an anterior placenta you're more likely feel the baby later rather than sooner but it's not impossible, on that one she should probably take your word for it.
