How many have a name picked out?

I've noticed a couple posts announcing baby's name. How many that know the gender have the name picked out? If you don't know gender yet, do you have any name ideas?

I had a boy and a girl name picked out before we knew gender. Boy would have been Silas. We have been told girl so her name will be Elyana Sharon.

My little guys name is Emmett. His middle name will probably be George, after DF's grandpa, but that's not set in stone yet. I'm just waiting on the confirmation from DF that Emmett George is what he wants to go with. I'm not a fan of the look or flow, but the meaning outweighs that completely.

We're team green. 100% sure on a girl name, Aimee Sarah, which we would have used if DS was a girl. About 98% sure on a boy name, Charles Lucas. We name after people in our family, so Aimee Sarah would be for my Dad's Mom and Charles Lucas would be for my Dad's Dad. Neither are an exact match, but match the meaning of their names.

Were having a boy and his name is Luke Matthew! We came up with a name before our ultrasound for each sex.

Re: How many have a name picked out?

We are also team green but have pretty much settled on names.

A boy will either be Reed (my maiden name was Reid) or Silas (DH loves Cy as a name- I want a first name with more substance so Silas was the compromise). The middle be for either would be Fair (another family name)

A girl will be Julie (simple and sweet) or Daylily (my favorite flower and this name satisfies my husband's urge for a hippy girl name). The middle name here will be Julie Dodge (yet another family name) or Daylilly Fair.

We had a girl and boy name picked out pretty much since a few months after we started dating lol, we even have a second name for a boy in case our next baby is a boy as well.

We are trying, but so far we have come up with nothing. I had one name that I love but DH doesn't like it at all. He gave me a good sized list of names that he likes and there are a couple on it that I like, but none that I really love.

Lol we had our girl name picked out after we were only dating a few months....bf mentioned if he ever had a daughter he would like her to have the name Elyana and I loved it so that's what her name will be :) and middle name is after my mom- Sharon.

We plan on staying team green. We don't pick names ahead of time so we will be deciding once we meet him/her.

Our little girl has a first name :) we are still working on a middle though. I love reading everybody's names and why they chose them!

Our girl's first name (Summer) has been nailed down for more than a year :) We had a boy's first name too (Trent) but my BIL ended up taking it, so we're still tossing a couple back and forth. We're thinking Brock right now but I'm not super crazy about it.

I really don't know what to do for middle names - I don't want to name after family because I'm sure people will start getting offended in a hurry (I was thinking about using my mom's middle name for my girl [Lynn] but then I bet my MIL would feel left out) so I'm still working on those.

Our baby girl is still nameless and I am afraid she will be that way for a while, we just can not come up with anything we both like. It doesn't help that DH and I apparently have very different ideas about what type of girls names we like, funny since we liked the same type of boys names and named each of our boys without any issues.

My littlest (Ryder) would have been Summer if he was a girl. Unsure if we would use it this time. We will see. We do have a few names we like but still not set in stone with either boy or girl name. We are team green...

Re: How many have a name picked out?

We are 100% sure on a girl Contessa (Tessa) Madison and a boy would be at about a 98% sure Alexander (Xander) Madison.

Family tradition is all kids have m middle names and my dad's great great grandmother named her kids after all presidents and my branch comes down from the George Washington Magargee's (Maiden name) and my great grandfather was named after a president as well James Monroe. So I use M president middle names.

I have James Dean Monroe (We call him JD) and Jackson McKinley (Jack Jack) currently. We need to use Madison for a boy or a girl. If McCain had won we could've had four kids. LOL jk ;)

I considered Summer for a little girl too! But I thought it might be a little weird having a Summer born in Autumn and an Autumn born in the summer! The other name I was considering was Joycelynn, Because it was a combination of My mom Lynn and DH's mom Joyce.
