I work full time and have no other choice to continue working until the DR forces me to go on maternity leave. I'm soooo tired....I would love to take time off.

DH is not working; he's out on Workmans Comp for a back injury (and besides, he's super lazy anyways - in the 10 yrs we've been together, he's held a job for maybe a year or two - has other qualities that make him worth keeping, though) so it's just me supporting him, myself and two teen girls (plus the new one growing in me).

I envy the stay at home moms....have always wanted to be one but it never works out that way for me.

And now I make too much money to simply quit...even if he went to work, he wouldn't make what I make.

I'm still preggo and will be working PT as long as possible before DD comes. (I love my job). Afterwards though, I'll be taking 5 months off to spend with my baby. Then I'll go back PT.

I will be on maternity leave before much longer and will then will be going back fulltime to work. Luckily for DH and I we will only need a sitter for 2 hours on the days that I work. One week will be 4 days and the next only 1. Our maternity leave here is 12 weeks and I will work right up till my water breaks.

I'm going to work full time until my due date (or until I blow up so big I can't walk!).

After that I'll hopefully get to be a SAHM. I'll atleast stay home until DF is back from basic training, and hopefully if money flow is decent I will stay home with baby. If not that I'll try to go back to work veeeerrry part time. I'm just not a big fan of daycares, or sitters.

I think I'm just selfish.

I am on maternity leave. I originally wanted to work up until at least now but my doctor wanted me on maternity a long time before I went.

I was working and going to college full time along with having a 3 (now 4) year old. It got to be too much with the pregnancy also. I have been so extrememly tired throughout my pregnancy. I quit working at around 20 weeks. I was planning on quitting anyway but I was going to wait until just before Thanksgiving. 2 kids in daycare costs only $25 less than I make per week so it wasn't worth it to keep working!! Right now I am on bedrest and can't go to scool either. After the baby is born I will return to school but not work.

I could never stay at home! I'm a full time nursing student plus I wait tables 5 nights a week. I plan on doing both until I no longer can. I'm only 5 weeks and going strong. I even hope i bounce back quick enough to graduate nursing school in November and not have to wait until 2007.

i work part time as a waitress. but our restaurant is pretty slow paced and everyone is really understanding so it's fine so far. I really don't feel like working much anymore though cause i always feel tired and lazy

When my pregnancy gets further along and after the babies born i'm def. gonna take some time off

Not exactly a mom yet (just pregnant)!

Anyways, I work full-time right now, until January 6th. That is my last day on this contract. I may get hired by DH's company to temporally start up a database and then train the person his boss ends up hiring. His boss knows I am pregnant, so that shouldn't be a problem, and he knows I will need to be let go sometime in July at the latest.

After that I am hoping to be a SAHM, but if I can't I would like to either work part-time or WAHM!

I work part time as a sub for a few local school districts. I'm mostly in as a Librarian but in times of desperation I've done just about everything.
