Sorry I kinda need to vent. I just found out I am pregnant yesterday( I'm around 5 weeks ) and I'm having all these worries.

First of all I'm having a little bit of brown discharge (old blood) and it worrying me so bad that I might have a miscarriage. Some ppl say its something to worry about and some say its just fine. I don't have a doctor yet so I can't ask them.

Also I don't have insurance and I'm scared that I wont get accepted for Medicaid. I make only around 800 a month with a small part time job. But my boyfriend that I live with makes around 2900 a month. But since where not married they won't count them right????

Sorry I'm just feeling kinda crappy now I just found out yesterday and now I'm scared I might loose this baby. I don't want to tell my boyfriend about the old blood because I don't want him to worry.

Brown discharge is very very common in early pregnancy. With this pregnancy I had bright red bleeding and passed a clot. But this was something totally unrelated to pregnancy. So Im sure everything is fine! I do not think his income will count toward medical but im not 100% sure. I would do a google search and see what it is like in your state. I really hope everything is okay! PM me if you need anything hun! Dont worry hun we all worry! Welcome to the wonderful world of becoming and being a mommy!

If its any consolation, I bled with all my pregnancies and was usually around the time my next period was due. I was stressed to the max the first time it happened, rang the hospital and they weren't particularly supportive. My doctor thought it was just hormones, or body getting used to a growing baby inside. As long as you're not feeling any pain or cramps, just put your feet up and relax.

Thanks I feel a lot better this morning, I was really tired last night! Any ways I haven't had any more of the brown stuff and it was never much in the first place just a little on TP when I wiped, unless it comes back I'm not going to worry about it. How ever I'm a little worried that it could be because we had sex the day before could it have came from that?

I had alot of brown discharge up until I was 10 weeks, 8 weeks past conception. My dr told me it was partly from what my uterus had rejected from when the beby implanted and that sometimes it takes a little bit for it all to come out. I was told that it will disapear on its own, and it did! I just kept an extra eye out on it just incase and from other friends that are pg with me, they said they had the same issue and it cleared up on its own.

If you live together they will use his income. medicaid goes with rent etc and i dont think many get turned down for medicaid for pregnant women.

if you spot after sex and brown discharge is considered spotting, then it is a good idea to avoid penetration for a little while. Brown blood is old blood that was probably knocked loose when you had sex.

Its officially called Sensitive Cervix
