I was just wondering if you can get pregnancy symptoms before a preg test can register a positive, or do you have to be far enough in for a test to register to have symptoms?

I only felt real symptoms (like nausea) about 6 weeks along. I had noticed my nipples were darker before and that the veins around my breast were dark blue as well.

I knew I was preg. before my missed period. Really just a gut feeling, I guess.

See my problem is I just had a baby in November. I haven't regained my cycles yet so I can't go by a missed period. I'm having a lot of symptoms, but they could be symptoms of something else too.... constant indigestion, everything tastes funny, headaches, fatigue, moodiness, no weight loss since my baby was born.
I took a test, but I messed it up. I had to pee so bad that I forgot to take the plastic cap off the stick before I peed. It was a digital test and had to be used immediately so I took it apart, put it back together and decided I could try just catching the tiny dribble that were left. It wasn't flashing ready when I did so. About 6 minutes later it flashed ready and then turned to Not Pregnant. I just don't know whether to trust that or not.

What do you guys think?

I think if are concerned you could try calling your OB/GYN to take a blood test, just to be safe. I hope everything turns out in your favor.

I just wanted to tell your baby is so cute. I can't wait to see mine in May.

I definitely had sympotms of pregnancy before my missed period, like right away. However, if you just had a baby a few months ago, I would call your OB/GYN and let her know whats going on, there may be more the situation.

I had my children close together....I don't think I got my regular period (that I can remember - it was a LONG time ago) before I was pregnant with the second one! My oldest was only like 3 months old when I got pregnant again.

With my first one, they gave me a blood serum test at a local clinic and told me I wasn't preggo. I argued with them....I KNEW I was pregnant (and I was right).

Your digital test, the way you described it, would be unreliable in my mind. Get another test or go see the dr.

Definitely! I knew that I was pg more than a week before AF was due with my last child. I called my Dr and had her run a blood test. Sure enough, positive.
