Umm a 4 year old tubal done while having a csection and a 4 year old vasectomy that regrew on one side. Too bad I didn't read the articles that you have a higher chance of tubal failure when done at the same time as a c sections! So, here I am preggo with #3!

I was using fertility awareness (tracking ovulation) and used a diaphragm w/ spermicide during "risky" times, pull out method during less risky times, and my boyfriend was also a "master" at this art. He never once forgot to pull out, and I actually read that the rate of failure for fertility awareness was like 3-15%, diaphram 5-20%, pull out 3-20%.... so I figured all three combined were pretty decent. The problem arose in the fact that I missed normal ovulation time, had a "light period" that I ovulated during (no way to track that!) and we didn't use a diaphragm the one time we had sex during that time frame... but we did pull out!

Gonna go on the pill after this baby, although the reason I wasn't taking it before was for horrible migraines during the sugar pill week and lots of hair falling out, plus loss of sex-drive. Now I feel silly for not sticking with that pill despite side effects!

Wow...I'm on the pill and have been worried that i might be pregnant this month (hopefully not). Looks like it isnt as reliable as people think.

I read a study (in nursing school) that BC pills arent as effective if you are over 150 lbs and depo isnt very effective if you are over 200 lbs.

Well, I guess then my BC isn't very effective, since I am close to 150.
