Hey All!!!
Okay...I have a question. I recently went to the doctor and had my 18 week ultrasound. I was actually 18 weeks and 3 days...I had an ultrasound at 16 weeks and 3 days( my best friend is an ultrasound tech!!!! I'm spoiled....) My question is ...When I did my one at 16 weeks, the baby was measuring right on target...but 2 weeks later when I went to my 18 week, my doctor said the baby was measuring 19 weeks and 4 days (almost a weeks and a half more)...Could that be normal or do you think my baby is just going to be huge? She said she is keeping my due date the same....but that scares me because my revised due date is a week and a half early....has this happen to anyone??? please let me know

The baby probably just had a big growth spurt. My DD measured right on target all through...and then suddenly at 32 weeks she was measuring 3 weeks behind; and remained that way until we induced a few weeks later. Sometimes babies just have growth spurts in utero, just like they do outside. I wouldn't worry too much...I'm sure they're monitering it and will let you know if it is anything to be concerned about

Babies are kind of more consistant at their growth during the first 20 weeks and then they will kind of grow in spurts! Your baby will probably grow lots and then slow down and then hit a growth spurt again...

If she isn't worried about it then I wouldn't worry either!
