this is why theyre called just that.. old wives tales. No your baby wont be gay, or if he is, than it has nothing to do with the old wives tale.
did they say it was a boy or did u just guess? ciz sometimes the umbilical cord goes between thelegs, but it is boy season! dont worry tho, dont read much into those old wives tales.. theyre just for fun... what determines sex, is your partners sperm.
Hehehehehehe....I'm sorry, I don't mean to laugh but I can't help it! It soooo reminds me of ME!! I kept calling the baby "she" in my mind ever since I found out I was preggers, and kepts getting this horrifying feeling that I was developing a complex for the baby if it turns out to be a boy! " I kept saying, omg! I have to stop calling the baby "she" because if it's a boy, he'll come out gender-confused!"
But these are just worries. I too don't care if this little one turns out gay. In fact, my man and I play the "what if" game a lot, and one day I asked "What if you get home one day and catch your son/daughter having sex on our bed....with someone of the same sex!!" He of course had the typical male response...I on the other hand said I'd probably burst out laughing! OMG can you imagine finding out your kid's gay that way!! I think it would be sooo funny! I'm completely pro homosexuality, so to me, it would be no biggy.
Well, if it makes you feel any better (makes me feel like an *****), when my mom was preggers with me the doctor looked at the sonogram (several in fact) and said that I was a boy. They didn't know I was a girl until the end of her eighth month. So just for some reassurance, I'm not gay, so don't listen to the wive's tales!!
