You may not need that again seeing as this is your second baby, and your muscles are in a better position to deal with the baby. Whichever way it goes i just hope that you get what you want. Good luck, and don't worry much.

Good luck!!! As long as your muscles are fit to go, then hopefully you won't have to have a C-section. I know I weighed 8lbs 12 oz and my mom had me vaginally. But good luck again with the little princess!!

i understand that you don't want another section. did you know that only two percent of women will actually grow a baby that is too big for their pelvis? yet a third of women in this country will have a section. odds are you were perfectly capable of having your son and the doctor was tired of waiting for you to do it. have you talked with your doctor about VBAC? if your dr is not very supportive, it's probably not going to happen. sorry but it's the truth. you are a woman and you were made to birth babies! check out the labor and delivery board here on JM, it's got a ton of good information.
sorry i'll get off my soapbox now.
but i believe in you! and good luck! ELV coming your way. . .

okay then! well, i tore pretty badly myself, but it was mostly my own fault, i wouldn't quit pushing when i needed to. so if they tell you not to push or to push less, listen! lying back increases the odds of a tear or an episiotomy, pushing in a squatting position or on all foursseem to be the best for keeping everything together down there. HTH!
