ok well today my boyfriend told me he wanted "us" to go to another rock concert (just what i need! i mean shinedown was awsome but i dont think i could go through another one like billy idol or raw) i didnt say anything at first because i thought it was sometime this month but its at the end of next month and ill be like 36 weeks! most of the concerts i been to were in rhode island and thats like a good hour and a half to 2 hours from where i live..what if i go into labor while there? i told him but he still wants to go..will i be taking a big chance if i decided to go? poor dill will be hearing that loud music if i go this time..last time i went i didnt even no i was pregnant...it also gets extremely hot in the club where the bands perform (lupos heartbreak motel what a name huh?) what would people think if they see a girl pregnant going to a rock concert hehe? i mean im already out of place.they wear black i wear bright colors soo i get enough stares!
If it's general admission just stand in the back or off to the side (just not directly in front of the speakers). I plan on going to Ozzfest this summer when I'll be around 32 weeks, I won't be worried about going into labor at that point, but I am using my boyfriend and his concert hookups to get me a pass so I can stand to the side of the stage.
I dont know what to tell you for sure, other than I would also be extremely worried about going into labor at that point and being so far away. I would be concerned about the noise. All of the information I have seen suggests that loud music can possibly damage the hearing of an unborn child. But, there is other info that says it will be fine. I might call your OB and ask. I agree with Star, if you do decide to go, I would definitely stay back or way off to the side. It does sound like fun though!
