So I missed 2 pills at the beginning of Feb. My last "period" came Feb. 3. And I was supposed to start a new pack of pills on the following Sunday. Since I have been bogged down with Nursing School, I completely forgot to take the Sunday & Monday pill. I did not know to take them with my other pills, so I have been without them. Today my "period" has started (or what I believe is a period). It is really light and I am not "bleeding." I'm concerned because I read online (on multiple websites) that it is really nothing to worry about if you miss 2 pills, but only alarming when you miss 3. For some reason I do not believe this. I have been on BCP for 4 years now and the website said that I probably wouldn't ovulate even if I missed a pill. Does anyone have any answers for me? Have you missed a pill and got pregnant? How long had you been on the pill? Any answers would be appreciated.
Hi...I'm sorry your in this situation it can be stressful I know. To answer your birthcontrol question. I started birthcontrol when I was 16 and had been taking it for almost 5 years. I missed one pill on new years eve and got pregnant so it can happen. But probably not very likely. I'm not really sure that's just my experience. Sorry I couldn't be more help. The pill that I missed was the second pill before I was supposed to start my period week pills so I'm not sure if that has something to do it. If you think their is a chance you might be pregnant you shoud take a test that way you know for sure. It's better than stressing about it if your not. Good luck
