I'm just wondering about conception dates, all these dates are starting to confuse me. I'm not sure of my last period dates, I've always been bad at keeping a check on these. I found out i was pregnant, and when i got the scan the nurse said i was 7 weeks, 4 days (2nd December), counting this back takes me to around the 10th October, however the nurse said conception was around the 23rd October, so i'm confused.
Just go into that first site and you can enter in your due date and see around when conception should have happened. If you still are a bit confused, the second site explains the math. I hope that can clear it up for you!
If you were 7w4d pregnant, that means the first day of your LMP was 7w4d ago - so your CONCEPTION date would have been ROUGHLY 14 days after your LMP, so your LMP was around 10 October & conception would have been around 24 October.
Pregnancy is dated from the first day of your last period, EVEN THOUGH you don't get pregnant until about 2 weeks after then....
So when you had your u/s you'd have been 7w4d going by LMP, 5w4d going by conception
So by the time you actually get pregnant, you are already 2 weeks pregnant.. LOL.
