I got breast implants in Feb 2011, and found out I was pregnant in May 2011. I'm due in Jan 2012. Although I am extremely happy about my pregnancy, I do have a few concerns about the breast implants. Lately I have noticed that my right breast feels more "hard" than usual. With this being my first pregnancy, I'm not sure if the breasts tend to get harder, or if this is the implant hardening. Does anyone have any similar stories??

Hi There!

I got implants Dec 2009 then got pregnant June 2010...I do not remember them feeling hard or anything. I know they got bigger and thought they started to feel more natural! I did always feel nervous about them. I even contemplated not breastfeeding but here I am 8 months after giving birth still nursing. And jusr fyi, they still look great! I think you are just fine.

Hope this helps!

Maybe give the Dr that did your surgery a call and see if they can answer your questions. Maybe you could also try asking your OBGYN. I have several friends who have had pregnancies after getting implants and they were all fine and still looked great afterward. Most ended up looking more natural.
