Hi. I am new to the board, and was looking for some advice. My husband had a vasectomy 4 years ago. My cycle has been anywhere from18-21 days, but I'm at day 28 with still nothing! I feel like I'm pregnant!! I feel like this is impossible since he's had a vasectomy. My girlfriend said she knows someone who has gotten pregnant after vasectomy, but can this really happen!! I have been on this cycle for a while, but am thinking maybe the daylight savings has changed my cycle. It's so weird, but I am exhaused and feel like I may be pregnant!! Has this happened to anyone? I will be totally shocked, as will my husband! Our 2 kids are 7 & 10! Thanks.

There are 2 girls on JM that are pregant after a vas. There was even one that had her tubes tied and her DH had a vas. and they got pregnant. I guess the scar tissue can come together and reform the tubes???? I dont know how all that works. You should def go out a get a test. Good luck

Oh and welcome to JM!

Yeah, I've heard of it being a possibility, so I definately wouldn't rule it out. I would go and get a test and find out if you are or not. I'd get a good one, one of those First Responses or something. If you can't get a definite answer that you're happy with from those, call the doc and tell them what's up. I would say it's possible though.

Yup, very possible. When dh had his surgery done the surgeon told him to get rechecked at 6weeks, 3months, 6months, 1 year and every year after that just in case.

My husband did the routine testing. I think it was clear after 3 samples. The doctor never told us to recheck after that! I guess anything is possible. I will be shocked to say the least! I will buy a test in a few days to see for sure. I never miss, but I have not been pregnant in 7 years so I am second guessing. I usually don't get cramping, increased appetite, or this tired right before my peroid. I will update when I know something. Thanks to everyone for their advice!
