Hello all! I am 90% sure that I am pregnant, and so I had the talk with my boyfriend of 1.5 yrs. His opinion was "we should have an abortion because it's really expensive to have a kid and since our relationship isn't stable, it would hurt the relationship too much." Well. at him. what a poopy reply. So i have thought about it. A LOT. and I cannot in any way have an abortion. I simply cannot put myself to do it. so that leaves me with possibly (more than likely) single parenting [although my mum says he'll come around, he just needs time] or adoption. And time will tell what happens in the end. but I just wanted to share that this baby (if there is a baby!) is not getting aborted. please note: I am not saying ANYTHING against or about you if you do abort.
Anyways, I feel at peace with this more than anything. Just knowing that I am not alone, and I will be okay.

I'm glad you've come to a clearer choice. There is lots of help out there for you. Get yourself to a Dr to be sure and ask for proof of pregnancy form them. With that you can apply for Medicare/cade or state insurance. A lot of the time your local health department gives free pregnancy tests and will set you up with everything you need state insurance wise. Also sign up for WIC right away. KUP on how everything goes!

Update: I told him I'm not getting an abortion, and he can choose to stay or leave. He said he wouldn't bail. Not bailing and being a supportive BF are too different things. Taking a HPT tomorrow morning again. Will update further!

Thank you both. I had a faint positive this morning, then disapeared after the control line showed up? also, had some bleeding this morning, has tapered off.
Also promising: he is offering to make V-Day dinner.

I've been a single mommy since my daughter was 5 months old. She'll be 3 in a month. And i'll likely be a mostly single mommy still when this one is born. (bf and I do not live with one another, and we also do not have a stable realationship).

But I think i've done pretty well. My daughter is one of the happiest kids I know. Very affectionate, loving and we have a great relationship. She's my heart.

You will do wonderfully as a single mom. It's often better to be a single mom, then stuck with a jerk.
