Hello~

I am married and I have 2 children. My daughter is 14 (from a previous) marraige and my son is 6. I just found out I am 5 weeks pregnat with my third child. I was a complete shock to us cause I was on the pill and only been off it for a few months and we were careful!! Anyway, I am pregnant and happy.

We have a few situations that I need advice on:

1.) Our living quarters....we rent a 3 bdrm duplex but the 2 kids rooms are very small. You def can't get a crib in either room....Once the baby is out of the crib and in a bed then we could prob do bunks or something but the rooms are microscopic small, esp my little ones. We have a decent sized room but our furniture is all big and bulky and I can't see us living comfortably in there....I kind of want a special place for the baby...WE also cannot afford more rent or to move, esp since I will not be working.

2.) I am very concerned about the age difference all 3 kids will have....My daughter, 14 my son will be 7 ince the baby is born...I am concerned that it will be hard to do things where all 3 kids would benefit.

Please help me with some advice or encouragement cause like I said we are happy but just very concerned!

Thanks!!!

i dont know what to say about the living situation but... my sister and i were 8 years apart and she was more of a mother figure to me than a sister. i value her greatly in my life i call her for advice often. and then when my dad got remarried he had two more kids who i am 10 and 11 years older than. i dont know how it worked out that we enjoy alot of the same family activities but it did. i think once you fall in a routine with the new child so will the rest of your children. it works out. this was my experince with my siblings. hope that helps in someway.

I am due next month and my kids will be 9 years apart. They are super excited about having a baby in the house. I wouldn't worry about the room either. For 2 years I shared a small room with both of my children while I lived with my father. Things can always change before then.
