ok so im 21 and my bf is 19 (we are young)! we've only been together for 4 months but i'm 3 weeks pregnant. I have already decided that i am having my baby even though the little one is unplanned.
My fear is that my family won't stand by me through this, particularly my dad.

Even though i was an unplanned baby born 18 months into my parents short marriage im scared he will cut me out of his life. Any suggestions or stories of how to tell him that im having a baby would be greatly appreciated . i have been in NZ for almost 5 years now.My entire family is in the UK so the closest i can get to saying it F2F is over skype.....HELP!!!!!!!

tell them you have exciting news and then just spill it. sound confident and maybe have a lifeplan (for at least this next year) thought out so you are prepared for their questions. be firm in the fact that you ARE keeping your little one. you could even take the tactic that they are gonna loooovvveee this baby (because they will). i wish you the best....btdt many years ago.

i was 19 when i got pregnant with my first DD and it was very unplanned. my dad was not happy at all when i told him and he didnt talk to me for a while but he came around to it. you would never know now that he was unhappy about my daughter. he loves her to death. i was out on my own and worked and supported myself so he might not have been happy but he knew i would make it work and i did.
