I feel like I'm possessed by a fertility demon!
In June I miscarried at 13 weeks. It was a completely unplanned pregnancy that happened at a horrible time. I was on the pill but had been late taking a few. Not more than 12 hours late though. I ended the relationship I was in because of how horribly my ex treated me after I got pregnant.
I started dating a friend of mine almost immediately after my miscarriage. I had started taking the pill again the day of my D&C and have been 100% faithful about taking it. I finished my 2nd pack of pills since the miscarriage last Sat and no period as of today. I took a pregnancy test today and it's positive. Very light but there is definately a second line.
I just feel like an idiot even though I took all the measures I could. I just don't get how this could happen twice!!! Has anyone else had anything like this that they want to share? I think it would make me feel better if I knew I'm not the only one!

What birth control pill were you on? Some of the low dose ones-Ortho tricylen-low particularly-have a pretty high failure rate even when taken exactly as directed.

I am the same way. Two birth control pregnancies and a pregnancy with my IUD. It's insane huh? I feel like I get pregnant every time I sneeze. Guess condoms are the only other thing to use. GL!!!! and congrats!!!

Well once again I don't think it was meant to be. I've been crampy all day and my quantitative hcg came back at 20. Way to low to be a viable pregnancy. I will NEVER rely on the pill again!

Wishing you the best of luck, and believe me, there's a reason for it, you may not see it but its there. Good luck once again.
