Hello mommies or soon-to-be mommies! My name is Leyna, and I'm from Nebraska. I've been hanging out over at the May 2007 DDC, and I just noticed this one. DH and I found out we were expecting two weeks ago. This was an unplanned pregnancy. We got married on August 4th, and so were newlyweds as well. I'm catholic, so we had to take numerous classes to prepare for marriage. One being NFP. DH loved the idea, and so did I. I don't believe in BCP, and not having to use condoms meant we were truly a married couple showing our love for each other. Anyway, while using the NFP method....I became pregnant. I'm due on May 26, 2007. It was definitely a hard week following our BFP. Now, we are welcoming our little boy or girl with open arms. DH is finally getting used to the idea of being a daddy, he's not 100%, but I know that takes time. I'm a very over protective first time mommy. I want everything to be fine, and I want to protect my little angel. Our first OB appointment is on October 6th, and I can't wait to see our baby in their first picture and hear their heartbeat. DH is in the military, and we will be leaving my home state of Nebraska in four months. I'm currently a preschool teacher, but graduated with a Bachelor of Journalsim. I plan on being a SAHM, because I don't want to miss out on our little one growing up. Even though this pregnancy was unplanned...I'm treating this as our little miracle. I truly believe things happen for a reason. There is a reason why God wanted us to be parents sooner than later. I look forward to getting to know you all. I will definitely be around, as well as in the military mommies, and May DDC forums. I hope everyone has a happy and healthy nine months, and I bless all the mothers out there. You are all wonderful!

Welcome! NFP instructor popping in - just wondering what method you were using and if your instructor conducted a pregnancy evaluation to see what happened?

Congratulations on your new little blessing!
