Well JJ wasnt planned but he wasnt not planned, it was basically if it happens it happens if it doesnt it doesnt. At the time I found out he was in school and didnt get home until about 11 pm. The first thing he did when he found out was call up his mom who was asleep because it was 1 am their time and when she answered he said "hi grandma" it took her about 5 minutes to wake up and realize what he was saying but he was so happy and so was she. With this one I had told him I was about a week before I took the test but he just kept saying that I dont know until I test. We went out on my birthday to the humane society and I found a kitten I wanted and he told me I couldnt get it until I found out if I was preggo or not and we got a test and tested that night and when I came out of the bathroom and asked JJ if he wanted a little brother or sister Jon's face turned white and his jaw dropped. I think he almost crapped his pants but he got over the inital shock after about an hour and he has been ok with it since.

This was about 7 years ago. I got up early in the am to test and waited. I woke up hubby and he went straight into the bathroom and turned his back to me so I wouldn't see his reaction. Well, I saw it in the mirror! He picked it up and looked at it and his eyes got huge. He sat it down and went back to bed. Later that day he said to go get another one and do it again. Of course, it was BFP. All in all, we were happy about it, but it turned out to be a blighted ovum. When we found out it was a blighted ovum, we were at the doc together and later he confessed to me he felt like a part of him died.
We are angels with but one wing, and to fly we must embrace each other
he first reaction was to comfort me as i was hysterical. After awhile he got upset, mad at himself for letting it happen, threw a few things in his room, we both took turns crying a few times over the next month, but htings steadily improved. But now we are both in love with our baby and are excited.
W/ my first pregnancy my boyfriend was excited until we told my parents. They crushed his spirit about it b/c we are so young and don't make as much money as they think we need to. I had a m/c and now I'm pretty sure I'm p/g again. This time he is thrilled and so am I. We've done all the telling the family stuff once so we know we can do it better this time!
Dh was stressed, scared, and definitely upset. I was in total shock after my dr. told me I was preggo and I couldn't wait for Dh to come home from work, so I called him at work and told him. He came home as soon as we could, and we stayed up that whole night talking and trying to figure things out. He finally started getting really excited about it at the doctor's appt he was able to hear the heartbeat.
My SO was there w/ me when I took the test and so was my mom. My mom read the results to me and he was standing there. I was too scared to look at the test after I took it. But, it was a positive. I was in total shock and started bawling and he just held me and said that we'd deal with it. I was 18 when I found out and he was 22, so we are both young and we felt we weren't really ready, AT ALL. But, now that I'm further along and he has heard the heartbeat and seen his little girl on ultrasound he's getting excited, I think. Although he's the type that would never share it w/ me if he was! But, I caught him staring at my dancing belly the other night, so that was cute! But when we FIRST found out it was me freaking and him comforting and now it's the other way around since he is worried about money and taking care of a baby, ect. I am just ready to pop this little thing out!
