I have been eating tums like they are chocolate or something, is there anything else I can do? It seems I cant eat anything without getting it! That on top of feeling sick...and nerves...wow! LOL Well, any suggestions would help. Please and Thank you.

Love to you all, Savannah

Hey hun! The heartburn thing is starting early for you! You should be in the morning sickness phase! LOL! But, just be glad you're not!! As far as the heartburn, try to eat low acid foods. Stay away from things w/ tomatoes in them and oranges.. Those are high acid foods. Also my doc told me to stay away from milk (You wouldn't think this would make it worse?) But, anyways, try to stick to bland foods like bread, potatoes, meat w/o spices on it, ect. I hope it gets better for you!! Hope my advice helps a little!

Oh man, the Heartburn for me is terrible!! I started getting it early, just like you! But I found that milk helps, if only a little bit. I usually drink it before I go to bed, that way the heartburn isn't TOO bad, and I can actually get some sleep. I hope your heartburn subsides, because its a pain in the butt!

oh wow... im glad to see someone is going through this pain with me. the heartburn i have is just undescribable. it hurts SOOOO bad!! it doesnt matter if its high or low in acid. i get it from... banannas, the SMELL of sausage, pop tarts, bagels, Subway (BAD!), diet coke, i mean u name. one weird thing about this is that mexican food doesnt bother me the least little bit. tell me thats not crazy! tums and rolaids...they are worthless. the trick for me is MILK & ICE CREAM.. i know its fattening but its cool and it makes it feel sooo much better! i hope this helps!! try the ice cream!

I always ate tums and drank milk. Tums was like candy to me too. My daughter had a ton of hair when she was born, so yours might too .

Heartburn feels like your throat is sort of burning. At least that is how it felt for me.

Heartburn is when you feel a burning sensation in your chest, and sometimes you burp, and it burns really bad when you burp. All I can say is that it is not pretty! And since I've been pregnant, mines been soooo much worse. Milk helps, and ice cream too. Yummy, that sounds good right now

Heartburn feels like you have acid in your throat or you can feel that burning sensation in your chest.

I find it helps to not eat big meals, but smaller ones throughout the day. But, I usually end up with heartburn anyways. They have these chewing-foaming antacids "extra strength" at walgreens. They work wonders folks!!!

I had the worst heart burn the last 2 months of my pregnancy! Thank goodness for TUMS . It didn't matter what I ate either... Then as soon as I had DD, GONE, no more heart burn. I heard that your baby will have lots of hair if you have bad heart burn... and if you look at my DD's pic, she has tons!

I feel for you both! Hang in there!!!
