We dont have a written down budget. But every payday we sit down and say ok this pay period this, this and that is due, we need groceries etc. Then figure out how much we have to play with and how much we're gonna put in our savings. It works for us and that's all that matters.
We pretty much do the same thing. Like I've said before though, he has his money and I have mine. We have seperate personal bank accounts, and then 2 joint ones for paying mutual bills, but the bills are split 1/2 and 1/2 between us! It works for us and that way I'm not nagging him about him spending money and vice versa.
No, we never stick to our budget! Especially my bf, he is an impulsive spender! I told him he won't be able to do that anymore once baby comes, but he still just doesn't get it! At least the bills are always paid on time, and I don't mean to nag him, but I just worry a lot about money because I don't want to end up back at my parents' house(I love them and everything, but too much stress!)
hummm basiclly we need to have 800 at teh end of the month for rent so my mom takes about 400 out each check and they we have 150 on cable, 40 on water, and 75 on electric the theres diapers and wipes which are about 20 bucks for both and them food and i get them on my food stamps card adn wic so that aint no biggie i guess our buget is pretty layed out
Yeah, we have a budget. It's not written down but I know in my head how much we need for bills each month.. then grocieries and other things. Try to keep a little back for emergencies. DH is awful with money. If I left it up to him, we would be behind on all of our bills!!

Dh and I still have seperate accounts.... he is more of a spender and I"m the planner and budgeter. Dh pays all the bills (except for rent that we split) so that whatever money he has left he can play with. My check goes to groceries, my cell phone, credit card bill, and then whatever is left goes into the savings. This way I can save, and he can play. And the important thing is that the bills get paid on time
