a few months ago my boyfriend of 3 years and i split up and i was seeing someone else. while i was seeing and sleeping with this other guy my old boyfriend and i hooked up a couple times. i always used a condom with the new guy. well, i found out i was pregnant at the end of september and stopped seeing the new guy and my old boyfriend and i got back together and got married last week. i'm almost positive my husband is the father, but him and i were together for 3 years and i got pregnant twice and had miscarriages. he has doubts b/c i didnt get pregnant like this before. i figured i was able to get pregnant b/c we had split up, paid off bills and lifted alot of stress off our relationship. i dont want this baby to be someone elses. i used protection like a good girl but i'm still scared. i need some input on what you all think.
(p.s. my uncle and his ex wife had 2 kids while using birthcontrol pills and condoms, this is why i'm scared)

I'm not sure if you have posted here or not, but I wanted to welcome you to JM and to the unplanned board as well as congratulate you on your pregnancy!! I'm not an expert on this, but it sounds to me that more then likely the baby is your husband's. Were you using protection with you husband? Of course the only sure fire way to know is to have a DNA test done, but based on the given information I would say it's your husband's. JMO.

I agree with Amanda. I would say it is most likely your husbands.

What about the timing? Without a paternity test (which is probably in your best interest for peace of mind at the least) you really need to look at the timing of things. When you slept with who, when you last period was, etc. I'm not sure who I'd guess, but I wish you the very best of luck and hope it is your husbands!

better to be safe than sorry. I'd get a DNA test...unless you know your body VERY well, and I mean very it is hard to guess exactly when you got pregnant, best the laywoman can do is have a ball park figure..also condoms are not 100 % effective....

As uncomfortable as it may be, the only way to know for sure is to have a DNA test, or there will ALWAYS be doubt..you can't even really just go by who the baby looks like because babies can look like one man and be biologically another mans.

Good luck I know things will work out. Don't stress about it, just enjoy the pregnancy and cross each bridge as they come.
