What is everyone doing for insurance? Do you have it through work, on Medicaid, on your parents insurance plan?

When I got pregnant with Ty I had to get Medicaid because I was a waitress and my dad's plan dropped me. Now we're on my DH's plan.

I was on my dad's but his company switched insurance and didn't wanna cover me or something, so I got my own through my work. I am going to have that until the 12 weeks are up after delivery, and then I won't be returning back to work, so I am hoping that by then my SO will have benefits w/ his work. They (his boss & his boss's wife) are looking into it, and I am HOPING that in 2-3 months they will have it. So we shall see! But, for now, I have my own (Aetna) and I have my SO on there w/ me as my "domestic partner". Yep, welcome to the new millenium!

I am currently on my dad's insurance, as I was taking just enough credits to earn extra certification to stay on it. However, it's over in a few weeks and I just got on Medicaid. In September, my new job will cover me (just got a teaching job) so it kinda sucks that I might have to change doctors just for 2 months in the summer... i'm petitioning it when it comes time.

I had insurance through my job when I was pregnant with my daughter. Once Dh and I got married, I switched over to his plan since it was cheaper.
