What do you look forward to most as a parent?

What, do you feel, is the most important thing you teach your child growing up?

1. Right now, I look forward to the day when Miranda can say "I love you, Mommy" lol.

2. I feel the most important thing that we teach Miranda is good morals and values.

I look forward to when she'll be talking full sentences, walking around and getting into trouble! I know it sounds weird, but I can't wait to see what sort of things she'll get into!

I think the most important things to teach Fiona is that she can trust us with anything. She can talk freely about things that are bothering her, or if she has a problem, she can always come to us for help. I also think it's equally important for us to teach her the value of honesty and responsibility. I want her to be honest and independent.
