Ladies I have had this running thin white liquid running out of me all day. Its driving me nuts. Im worried. I know that discharge is normal but it leaves a big spot on my underwear. Is this normal. Could it be amnotic fluid...Has anyone else ever had this. I am only 13 weeks and really concerned. Any advice will be much appreciated.

It really depends on what the discharge looks like. Odorless, milky discharge is common during pregnancy and called leukhorrea. The amount discharge varies from person to person. For example, I rarely had any after my first trimester and they say it increases as you get closer to labor and mine never did. If there's a lot of thin, clear discharge it could quite possibly be that you are leaking amniotic fluid. To be on the safe said I would call your OB or midwife just to make sure (afterall that's what they get paid for!!). I hope that it's just some normal discharge! Please let us know!!

It's called leukorrhea and it's normal! Some women have very little, others have so much they need to wear pantyliners to stay clean. It is discharge produced because of all the extra blood flow to your pelvic area in pregnancy.

That's how I was! I had very little my entire pregnancy, even towards the end. Oh, and I wanted to add, that your discharge should always be odorless and a milky color. If it's a greenish yellow and has an odor you might have an infection. I had never had a yeast infection my entire life and got one when I was pregnant. I had it for nearly a month before I realized what it was!!!! I didn't have any itching/burning so I just thought it was discharge lol.

It could be a yeast infection since it's super common for pregnant women to have that during pregnancy. I did.
But if you're not itchy or burning down there, I wouldn't worry too much about it. If you're still concerned, get your doc to check it out.

It's quite normal, and mine gets heavy at times as well. So that's why I wear a pantyliner

completely. the blood flow to your genitals has increased, speeding up the creation of those kinds of secretions. as long as you keep it clean and there isnt a sudden change in colour or an offensive smell, everything should be fine.
