I did. It started down pouring when we were leaving to go. When we got to the hotel that the prom was at, they lost power. So the first hour was spent in the dark. It was ok but I wasnt really friends with anyone in HS so it wasnt the time of my life or anything.
I never got to go to prom... basically because the school I was forced to go to was a Baptist Private school and they believed things like "prom" were of the devil. **rolls eyes** Anyways, you can imagine what they think of me NOW...being 17 and pregnant. lol.
i never went to my prom... i bought a dress and everything but last mintue complications made it impossible for me to go... plus i had gone i wouldnt have been wearing the dress i brought... there was some shipping issue at the dress store. even though i paid the total amount i never recieved my dress.. two weeks later the dress store was out of business... oh well
cant change the past and there is no point in dwelling on it.
Nope- I was with my then boyfriend- now DH- and we decided to go to Ocean City MD for like 5 days instead of prom for one night. Funny thing is- the price of each was pretty much the same... Actually, the beach trip was probably less expensive.. LOL.
I'm only just beginning 10th grade now, so I haven't approached either my junior or senior proms yet (and I don't know if I'll even bother), but I did go to my boyfriend's junior prom with him. It was okay, I didn't know a lot of people&a lot of the people that were there were mean to me anyway because they knew I was pregnant.
People suck. I'll have my own party when I graduate, lol.
I went to both my Junior and Senior prom...my Junior one wasn't all that great but I had a blast at the Senior one...I was 18 then so I didn't have to be home at a certain time (if you know what I mean)
i wanted to go to my senior prom, but it was on may 16 and i had my daughter on may 10,so to say the least i wasnt leaving my daughter before she was a week old and i was in NO mood to see all those skinny little butts in cute dresses.
