After the baby is born do you plan on using the same BC you were on before or will you try something new?

After I had Ty I went back on the same BC. I think the error was more my fault, not the BC's fault and that's why I got preggo.

I'm not sure yet. I was also on the pill and it worked great up until I went on medication... I have been looking into the ring however. My sister is using it and likes it better than the pill.

Definetlly getting on something new. Maybe the patch. I like the fact that I can't forget to take it and if I were to throw up on it, it won't make a difference. One missed pill and I'm pregnant. Go figure.

I plan on cutting off my hubby's (censored) lol....I'm only kidding!!! I was on the patch before I started tring to get pregnant and LOVED it. The hormones in the b/c pills made me throw up immediately after taking them...I tried several brands too. The shot made me bleed so bad I passed out and ended up in the ER. Either I will have my tubes tied or go back on the patch. The more I think about it I don't think I will have my tubes tied because what if I change my mind and deceide to try for #3...

I plan on using something different. I was using a diaphragm because I'd always had troubles with being on the pill. Now, though, I am willing to go through the side effects in order to have less risk of pregnancy! I will probably choose the Seasonal type, where I'll only have a period 4 times a year. This is because the week I go off the active pills, I get migraines for at least 3 days straight. If I can narrow that down to 4 times a year it will be much easier to deal with!

I am not going to be on the same BC, I was on the patch, was new to it, had only been on it for about 3 months, was on the pill, for 7 years before that, would sometimes miss the pill, never got pregnant, then wanted to try something "new" so got on the patch, and ended up getting pregnant while I was on it!!!!!!! I was so mad! Did everything right, never messed up, and it happened! Everyone's body is different, and I guess this actually made me fertile, LOL. My little sister is on the patch, and has never had a problem..so hey...guess it was just my time.....

nope... I never had to really rely on BC because of my periods.. I mean I lost a baby in Jan of 1998 and then in Feb got pg with Walker.. We tried to no avail for 3 years to concieve.. And in 2001 I did and lost this one as well.. So in 2003 we decided Walker was going to be the only child... And The doc put me on BC for medical reasons.. Low and behold I got pg with Braxton while on the pill.. And I thought that if I had such a hard time getting pg then I didn't need to be on the pill.. Now I am pg again. But after this one is born I am getting snipped.....

What about the IUD? Anyone have that one? I was looking into a non hormonal form of bc without getting fixed. And I'm allergic to condoms.
