So I'm a little unnerved. Over the weekend, I had a little spot of blood, but it wasn't like it was bleeding too much down there. I'd been having small crmping feelings, but it was normal otherwise. I called the doctor and they said it was fine but I wanted to know if it was normal. I'm 6 months pregnant, should I be spotting? It's not brownish, it's bright red, like fresh blood, but if I wipe or check there's nothing there. And it was only that one day. I never spotted at all. Ever....
Are my worries pointless? Or should I get a more extensive check up next week when i go in for my 6 Month check up?
have you been intimate in the last 2 or so days? DTD can cause spotting. Have you had any type of internal exams or anything like that in the last few days? that can cause spotting too.
If you haven't then I would ask to get checked out because I was always told to call if you have any bleeding. I don't mean to add more worry to your plate, but if it were me (and none of the situations above applied) I would rather be safe than sorry. GL to you, I hope it turns out to be nothing.
i had a case of really heavy bleeding at around 6 months too and i went straight to the emergency room. they did a complete internal and an u/s to check the baby and everything was fine, they couldnt find a reason.
it could have been a little cut from toilet paper, a different type of washing powder on your panties, anything. if your doctor said it was nothing to worry about and it hasnt happened since i really wouldnt worry, but do mention it at your next appointment.
Yup, your veins in your cervix are very tender right now. Everything "down there" is all different than normal. If you've had intercourse in the last couple days, that could have caused it or any number of things. A small amount of spotting is nothing to be overly concerned about unless it doesn't stop.
