Did/do you find it harder to sleep at the end of your pregnancy?

Any tips you could give us on how to get a better sleep?

When my sister was pregnant...she stopped sleeping in the bed and slept in a recliner chair she said it helped to have her head propped up.

my dr told me to take 2 bynadryl (spelling?) about an hour before you think you are going to go to bed. I did that and it worked very well. I was able to get a full night sleep.

I was unaware that I was allowed to take that. Maybe I will try it if it just gets harder to sleep.

I'm not uncomfortable yet. I just have bad insomnia that interrupts my sleep.

I so uncomfortable and I suppose that causes my insomnia.

My baby is a pain! He will not allow me to put my belly on the bed or he will kick toward the bed until I move. If I lift my belly a little I get cramps above my belly and if I lie on my back I get cramps 'down there' because I ALWAYS seem to have a full bladder

I use to love sleeping, I never knew it could be so difficult.

My son lets me sleep on my right side, but wont let me sleep on my left side, I get the same thing... a storm of kicks until I move (is he giving me demands already?lol) so I sleep on my right side with 2 pillows between my legs and if the insomnia is really bad, tylenol pm seems to work for me. Doctor said its okay, I made her say it to me 3 times in 3 different ways, TYLENOL PM IS OKAY TO TAKE.. LOL... hey you have to be sure of these things.

Benedryl is whats in Tylenol PM that makes you sleepy. I just take the Benedryl. I have insomnia a lot. Can't sleep without the benedryl. I also like Sleepytime tea to settle down at night but when PREGNANT, we all know what a cup of tea at night means....10 trips to the potty to pee out 1 cup of tea. ???

Anyways, I've heard some OBs will even give you Ambien during late pregnancy.

I haven't been sleeping well since my third month. I have no idea how much worse this is going to get.

I guess it's our little one preparing us for what comes next, huh?
